Midnight Syndicate reports that work on the upcoming Carnival Arcane CD is proceeding extremely well. On Friday, Gavin Goszka posted on Facebook, “There were concerns because we knew going into this disc that we would need some very specialized, hard-to-find sound effects, textures, and vocal FX. After listening to the tracks today, we feel, without a doubt, this disc will have the most tangible atmosphere of any of the discs we’ve done to date.” The CD, which takes listeners on a journey to the sinister Lancaster-Rigby Carnival, is expected to be released the first week in August. Looking for some fun viewing this Halloween season? Might we suggest our 2010 film, The Dead Matter? An indie horror b-movie that blends vampires, zombies, necromancy, and plenty of plot twists, "The Dead Matter" is a fun ride starring horror legend Tom Savini, Andrew Divoff (Wishmaster), and Jason Carter (Babylon 5). Shot entirely on Super 16mm film, the movie has become a bit of a time capsule with it's retro 70s/early-80s horror vibe. It was made with a lot of heart and soul and we hope you enjoy it. The movie is available on Amazon, Apple TV, Roku, Reveel, and Tubi. Visit the official website or JustWatch dot com for a complete list of viewing options.
"The Dead Matter" DVD is available on our Website Shop and Shopify Store. The DVD includes an amazing "making of" feature that goes through the entire film with behind-the-scene footage, commentary, interviews, concept art, designs, and so much more. The DVD also includes the first two Midnight Syndicate music videos and the finalists from our Halloween Music Video Contest.

ABOUT MIDNIGHT SYNDICATE
For almost three decades, composers Edward Douglas and Gavin Goszka have been known as Midnight Syndicate, creating symphonic soundtracks to imaginary films that facilitate a transcendental and adventurous escape into the secret dimensions of the mind’s eye. To many of their fans, they are horror music pioneers with their genre-defying signature blend of gothic instrumental music and immersive sound effects. To others, they remain the haunt music icons that forever changed the haunted attractions and Halloween music industries while becoming a staple of the October holiday season. Still others, know them as the for their collaboration with Dungeons & Dragons and contributions to the use of music in the roleplaying games and development of the RPG music genre.
