I used to play a lot of World of Darkness. As the GM I often sat and did my writing for our games while listening to Midnight Syndicate. Gates of Delerium inspired me to write the most terrifying storyline involving the players trapped in a haunted asylum. Yes, I even used the CD and timed everything to the music. Pausing the music when it was convenient and to allow the players time to role play.
I enjoy listening to your music.
Ahh, yes. That time I first attempted to draw Ed and he looked like something out of a Hammer Horror Movie (before I actually knew that was a compliment! LOL!)
How many nights I couldn't sleep because I didn't want to just so I could keep listening to my 4 new CDs I bought from the guy I tried to draw. Memories.....
You guys are my favorite horror music makers. Very talented. Keep up the good work š š¤
It’s hard - no, impossible to have a favorite Midnight Syndicate album, but if I HAD to pick a favorite, Gates MIGHT be it!

A rockin' orchestral classic!
Great CD. š I have almost every Midnight Syndicate CD.
I still say that title has got to be a Yes reference for Relayer...
I listen to it at work- on CD lol. I'm old school.
Love this album. Been listening to it since Halloween š My favorite track is Residents Past.
For over two decades, composersĀ Edward DouglasĀ andĀ Gavin GoszkaĀ have been known as Midnight Syndicate, creating symphonic soundtracks to imaginary films that facilitate a transcendental and adventurous escape into the secret dimensions of the mindās eye. To many of their fans, they are horror music pioneers brewing a signature blend of instrumental orchestral gothic music and movie-style sound effects. To others, they remain the first āhaunted house bandā that forever changed the Halloween music genre and became a staple of the October holiday season.Ā Still others, know them for their contributions to the use of music in the roleplaying and board game industries.
