MIDNIGHT SYNDICATE RELEASES FIRST-EVER LIVE ALBUM

CLEVELAND, Ohio, June 11, 2021 – Nearly three decades into their career, dark music pioneers Midnight Syndicate will release their first live album, Live Shadows, on June 11. Recorded between 2014 and 2019 at their multimedia Midnight Syndicate Live! shows at Cedar Point HalloWeekends, the album features new material and newly-arranged live versions of music spanning their career. A series of music videos highlighting each of their four Midnight Syndicate Live! productions are being released along with the album. Live Shadows will be available digitally and on CD and limited-edition purple vinyl.

“This album distills four years’ worth of immersive live performances into a collection of tracks that we feel truly represents the essence of these shows,” said Gavin Goszka.

“To this point, all of our shows have had their runs at the Cedar Point amusement park in Ohio,” added Edward Douglas, “so releasing this album and the accompanying music videos gives us a chance to share a part of the Midnight Syndicate Live! experience with fans wherever they may live,” added Edward Douglas.

I used to play a lot of World of Darkness. As the GM I often sat and did my writing for our games while listening to Midnight Syndicate. Gates of Delerium inspired me to write the most terrifying storyline involving the players trapped in a haunted asylum. Yes, I even used the CD and timed everything to the music. Pausing the music when it was convenient and to allow the players time to role play.

I enjoy listening to your music.

Ahh, yes. That time I first attempted to draw Ed and he looked like something out of a Hammer Horror Movie (before I actually knew that was a compliment! LOL!) How many nights I couldn't sleep because I didn't want to just so I could keep listening to my 4 new CDs I bought from the guy I tried to draw. Memories.....

You guys are my favorite horror music makers. Very talented. Keep up the good work 👏 🖤

It’s hard - no, impossible to have a favorite Midnight Syndicate album, but if I HAD to pick a favorite, Gates MIGHT be it!

One of your best albums! Top five…easy!!

I think the facial hair needs to make a comeback!

An awesome album!

Li love the lightning in it

Both look like they're 20 yrs old 😉

and there's a Dungeon and Dragons module that came with Gates of Delirium. The module is called Cages of Delirium and it prompts the Dungeon Master to play certain songs for certain scenes.

My first album I purchased and it led me on a path to purchase all your works. Love your music during the spooky season!

I missed this one. Not sure how. I'll have to find it and take a listen.Might be odd but your music relaxes me and removes stress sometimes.

That’s a great picture.

Great album!

My favorite album!

My favorite for sure!!!

My favorite!

I put your discography on at the office every day!

A rockin' orchestral classic!

Great CD. 😀 I have almost every Midnight Syndicate CD.

I still say that title has got to be a Yes reference for Relayer...

I listen to it at work- on CD lol. I'm old school.

Love this album. Been listening to it since Halloween 🎃 My favorite track is Residents Past.
